At Deep Blue, we aim to provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for every guest.
Our facilities have been thoughtfully designed to support a range of accessibility needs.

This guide outlines the features and services available to help you plan your visit with confidence. It is intended to provide accurate, up-to-date information-not personal recommendations-so you can decide what’s right for you.

Quick Find

  • Parking & Entry
    • Two undercover accessible parking spaces are available opposite the main hotel entrance.
    • Entry to the hotel and hot springs is via flat, smooth walkways and ramps with clear access points.
  • Hotel Accommodation
    • Three all abilities rooms with handrails in showers and toilets. Shower chairs and a narrow wheelchair are available on request.
    • Hotel room access is via elevators (except during power outages or emergencies, when stair access applies).
  • Hot Springs & Pool Access
    • Handrails are provided at most pools; some pools have them on only one side.
    • Pathways throughout the sanctuary are flat, sealed, and wide enough for two people.
    • All abilities room available with open shower, left-hand accessible toilet, handrails, and bench.
  • Salt Therapy Room
    • Wheelchair access is possible with advance notice.
  • Indoor Bath house – located at the Day Spa 
    • Access via a flat tiled surface from the hotel. One geothermal and one cold plunge pool, both with handrails.
    • All abilities toilet and baby change room located 5m from reception.
  • General Facilities
    • Unisex all abilities toilets are located near the Day Spa,  and hot springs.
    • Baby change room is located near the Day Spa.
  • Hot Springs
    • Toilets (male and female) include ambulant cubicles with outward opening doors.
    • An all abilities room includes an open shower and accessible toilet.
  • Salt Therapy
    • Guests may use the accessible washroom near Hot Springs reception before and after sessions.
  • Entry & Navigation
    • Flat, pram-friendly walkways and wide doors throughout internal hotel and wellness areas. External access via designated drop off point at the pathway to the Hot Springs reception.
  • Facilities
    • Baby change room available near Day Spa.
    • Multiple seating to accommodate family needs.
    • Hand dryers, hair dryers (upon request), and locker hire is available for convenience at the Hot Springs.
  • Pools & Spa
    • Pool environments can be busy; quieter corners are available. Children under age 5 are not permitted in the hot springs, or bath house.
  • Sensory Guidance
    • Waterfalls, dryers, and groups can create noise. Guests are encouraged to bring water resistant noise-cancelling headphones or visit during quieter times.
    • Suggested check-in time: 10 minutes after each session starts to avoid crowds.
    • Lighting in Salt Therapy is dimmed and Day Spa treatment rooms is adjustable. Coloured lighting options available in the Infrared Sauna.
  • Quiet Spaces
    • The Salt Therapy Room is a no-talking space. Dimmed lighting, reclining chairs, and optional headphones with guided meditation provided.
    • Guests may leave the Salt Therapy session at any time if uncomfortable.
  • Communication
    • Hot Springs Reception signage throughout includes braille and universal symbols.
  • Policy
    • Assistance dogs are welcome in all public areas, including hotel, café, and pool decks (but not inside pools).
    • Dogs must wear clear identification such as a vest or harness.
  • Handler Requirements
    • Carry valid ID from a registered assistance dog provider or government-issued pass.
    • Dogs must meet public hygiene and behaviour standards. Handlers must dispose of waste responsibly.
  • Bookings
    • The venue honours the Carer/Companion Card. Please contact the Hot Springs 03 5559 2050 or Day Spa 03 5559 2020 directly to arrange bookings with your companion.
  • Support
    • A carer can accompany guests who need help with entry, mobility, or relaxation sessions.
